Comment:

I took the 4-week class and it was really easy. 4 speeches and a couple of team speeches. You MUST attend class but we always got out early anyways. I could definitely not do a whole semester of public speaking so this is a great 4-week course. I recommend you take this class with him. EASY A!

Comment:

I took short 4 week course and it was easy and fast! Got an A with a little effort. The attendance is mendatory as well as 4 speaches plus couple minor things. Extra credit opportunity. This class is good for those who want to fly through and get over it. Show him respect and he'll respect you too. I liked him a lot!

Overall not a bad teacher. Grade mainly based on 4 speeches + some other minor things. Lets the first speech be 100% just as long as you do it. Really helped minimize the pressure & broke the ice for other speeches. Often let us out early. Take the speeches seriously and follow directions - got a B.

I took the 4 week weekend class. It was super easy and flew by. I gave little effort & got a B. I was terrified of taking speech and it really wasn't that bad. I recommend the 4 week class to anyone who wants to get it over with. You give one speech a week, and then there are a few other very easy assignments, like outlines and self-evaluations

This teacher talks so wierd. It will be like really low and you can barely hear him for like 5 mins. and then all of a sudden he shoots at you with a boom. His class seemed interesting but yet intimidating at the same time. Overall it's an OKAY class.

He's great! the material was super easy. We hardly ever used the book, & his lectures were short & straight to the point. He emphasizes what is really important for the midterm & the final so pay attention. Turn in the papers on time & do the speeches & you'll do fine. Class doesn't require much thinking and you can procrastinate & still get an A.

Good teacher in terms of making speaking easy and good teaching methods.I enjoyed the class until the end when he added my points wrong, and I ended up being 2 points short from A, which messed up my 4.o.I followed up with him but wouldn't fix my grade even though his syllabus clearly shows how your grade is calculated. Now I wish I didn't take him

I don't like how he grades. I take him for Speech 103, did all of my speeches but in the end, I failed the class. He said I got 161 pts total but he doesn't coun't my attendace and said that I failed the course. I think he's not being fair to me!!! I don't like him and how he grade.

horrible teacher, ya it was easy, but come towards the end of the class he doesnt add up the points right, he loses your assignments, and ends up giving you an incorrect grade. Textbook was totally useless, save your frustrations and take a different teacher

Excellent course: supportive prof more like a coach: learning is up to you: strong class interaction, made friends, built self confidence in public speaking, taught at a freshman level. Take it if you really want to learn how to speak well.
