Overall hes is just a really chill and happy professor. What makes his class enjoyable is his level of enthusiasm for math in general, he just enjoys talking about it and tries to make it as interesting as possible. Had him for Calc I and Calc II. Very caring and understanding and overall just wants you to succeed. Cannot say enough about him!

Took this course online, there was a lot of homework and tests but they are pretty easy and you can do practice questions and have multiple chances to do a question if you did it wrong. Prof also provides powerpoints to highlight the important topics of each chapter.

Math 101 was online. I loved this class and I do not like math. Interactive course with great feedback and help with questions. Help from Prof K. is also just an email away. Plenty of time on assignments and unlimited tries on homework and great reviews for tests. Not a math person? take this class, you will enjoy learning something new.

I took this class online. Time management is key. Discussion once a week, very easy... just updating the class on how your work went for the week. Use the question help and you can get step by step on how to complete the problem. Very easy !

He is a very caring professor, he listens to his students and helps if you need extra credit. He gives homework from the textbook but never checks it and gives mandatory homework on webassign that is usually easy. He also gives tests on webassign that really helps your grades go up.

I took an online math class with Prof. Koukounas over the summer. Prof. K made it very clear at the beginning of the semester what was expected of each of his students in order to do well. He was always willing to help when I didn't understand something. Great professor and truly one of the better professors that teach online classes at Suffolk.

I took professor K's class online and he was great. What he expects of you is pretty clear and what you need in order to be successful is clear. As long as you communicate on what is going on with you he will understand. At the end of the semester I received a B+ not too shabby for a summer math class online. I would definitely take him again!

a very helpful professor! he has a slight sense of humor but be preapred to do alota work! he assigns homework, but does not collect nor grade it. so do homework at your own risk! other than that he is a great proffesor. highly recommended! also he does curve tests pretty well

Koukounas is a kind-hearted man and is obviously in love with what he does. He's pretty straight forward and spends a lot of time reviewing homework and any questions that you may have. He's also pretty clear about what to expect on tests- which is very helpful.

Professor Koukounas was by FAR one of the best I've ever had! And this is the toughest math class I'd ever taken. His passion for mathematics and learning is infectious and makes class interesting. He was always available for extra help, and replied quickly to emails. Do the HW, and ask questions until it is clear to you and you should do great.
