By far the best teacher that I have ever had so far at Oshkosh, taught great would give great lectures, and made bio fun at points. He is retiring glad I got to have a class with him before he did.

Comment:

I screwed up and cheated in a exam, he found out but he was still so respectful. I really felt awful about cheating, I still remember his words when he said "if you can cheat on an exam, you can also cheat on your partner." Those words really hit me hard and promised to never do such thing. HE'S THE BEST PROFESSOR EVER!! Never break his trust.

One of the best professors you can possibly ever have. He tries his best to make lecture fun and easy to understand. Its sad he is retiring soon so take him while you can. Book isn't required but definitely recommended in order to succeed, as test can be a little difficult.

Comment:

Best Bio Professor at Oshkosh! This class does require a lot of studying but he makes it easy to learn and follow along. The book is not required but if you read the chapters it will give you a better understanding of what you learn in the lectures. Lammer's taught me a new love for Biology this semester, I highly recommend!

Take Dr. Lammers! He is very clear on what he wants you to know for his exams which are pretty straight forward. He is so easy to listen to and keeps students engaged by adding humor into his lectures. I believe this is his last semester, so take him while you can!!

Professor Lammers is a great professor! His lectures are clear and interesting/funny. He does not change the tests from year to year so try to find someone with the tests, and you will get an easy A. He is a great professor overall!

Professor Lammers is a funny guy that wants the best for his students. His tests don't change must year to year so find someone that took the class in the past and you might be able to get past tests. Go to the SI study groups. Read his weekly emails he sends out.

You HAVE to go to lectures in Lammers. Also, make use of the SI. His exams are pretty straight forward if you attend lecture. I loved having Lammers, he's the best bio 105 professor offered at UWO. He has a lot of respect and he's a very caring guy.

Such a wonderful professor, he uses real life examples so you comprehend the material better. I definitely would not be afraid to talk to him outside of class for anything. He sends out emails at the end of each week summarizing what you learned-- those are EXTREMELY helpful.

Dr. Lammers is a great way to get started in college as a freshman and is just as great for older students. He tries to provide positive direction in your life through his work. He does not put slides online and goes at a quickened pace some days so make sure to pay attention. Always open to criticism and always willing to help his students.

Dr. Lammers is one of the best professors I've ever had. His lectures are different in that he doesn't constantly display boring slides and actually lectures orally to the class. He is knowledgeable and only tells you what is important to know. Test vary in difficulty according to section but if you study a bit you should do fine.

Dr. Lammers cares more about his students than just their grades. He cares about their well-being overall and that is a cool quality for a professor to have. Lab was easy with him, all you had to do was show up, do the lab, and write up a lab report. He even cut some of the labs short which was nice. Recommended

Dr. Lammers cares a lot about the students and their success. Attendance is not mandatory, but attending lecture is an easy way to get a good grade. His lectures are simple to follow and engaging. He has a good sense of humor--be prepared to laugh. Exams are fair and relatively quick! Take Dr. Lammers for bio 105, you'll be glad you did!!
