I really enjoyed him. He is straight to the point with his assignments, and doesn't give any fluff work. His grading is fair, and he will help you if you need it. The final was a bit difficult to write, but the poem was so entertaining, I started reading various poems. He is very inspiring. Also, use the ILC he is there plus others to help.

Awesome teacher! He made writing essays fun. He's very understanding, has sense of humor and teaches the curriculum well. Gives plenty of time to turn in the few papers that are required. I will actually miss Mr. Botta a lot when the class ends. Hope you enjoy!

Great teacher! He is always very helpful and understanding. Assignments are explained well in advance, and are discussed in class so that they are understood. I was concerned about this class at first (being a composition class), but he is an excellent teacher.
