Comment:

He is a funny guy and he knows the material very well. He is also very up-to-date with what's going on in today's world of supply chain management. I really enjoyed having quizzes and current event assignments rather than cumulative exams. However, I do not feel like I retained much of the material because we were not tested on it.

WORST TEACHER I'VE EVER HAD! Had him for Operations Management. Teaches you new problems for exams one class period prior. Exams are 30 pts consisting of two 10 pt problems and 10 multiple choice. If you make the slightest mistake in an equation, you are already down to an 80%. Can only get 9 pts off cumulatively to earn an A in the class.

Makes easy material difficult through vague directions and by responding to questions with the "well what do you think" attitude. I would recommend the class to anyone, but not the professor!

Tom seems like a very nice guy. He has a european accent, but can be understood. His 306 class has 12 online quizes that are worth 10 points each and 3 inclass exams, worth 40 points each. The quizes are simple, but the inclass exams can be tough, especially the second and third. He gave a bonus quiz as a curve. Overall, easy class.

Very hard teacher. Hard to understand, talks softly. Exams are all math, no theory. Almost done with exam 2 material before taking exam 1. Will never take him again and advise to stay away from.
