didn't do the greatest in his course but it was because my final was worth 75% (i had h1n1 and missed my midterm) he is extremely by the book, but i found if he seen you were putting the effort in and working hard and coming to class he was MORE then willing to help you out! really cares about his students.

Great prof! :) Very nice. I really screwed up my interview time slot TWICE and he was really really nice about changing it. Also very clear in class and great notes which is very unusual for French. I did great in this course and usually french is a 50 - 60 mark range for me.

I had a solid background in french so i found the course pretty straight forward. Saying that i did french a lot in high school and have had bad french teachers. Wilding was organized and knowledgeable which made the course much better. Great Prof! I would take his class in a heart beat.

Ed was great! I found him to be a little hard in the interview and for the 'rédaction' but I learned a lot. Like someone else mentioned, I was a little nervous about him at first, but great. Lots of handouts to clear up any questions. He knows what he's talking about and I would definitely recommend him!!

Ummmmm... well... I didn't do the best in his class. Managed to pass though! :). He seemed like an ass at the beginning of the term, but in the end seemed like a good prof. The text itself was difficult if you didn't take the time to actually sit and study study study. But he gave us the heads up on everything.

Unless you already learned the content somehwere else, this course is hard. No way around it. You will HAVE to work and study hard to pass. I know multiple people who've had to do the course twice (including me) and one who had to do it 3 times. The prof. does make a difference, and Wilding is an excellent one for this course.

Ed is an excellent prof. The course is a bit heavy for someone who doesn't have a background in high school. He was very clear and gave out tons of worksheet to help you along. Also very helpful outside of class and is more than willing to give you an extra hand. Tests, Interviews and Exam were fair.

Ed is a very nice man and its not his fault that there is a large gap between 1500 and 1501. There really should be a course 1500.5 and it might make things easier. But Ed helps when you show up, but you must go to class.

This man has good intentions but I didn't like him too much! He is obsessed with your attendance and he spends too much time correcting worksheets than actually lecturing the class. It felt like high school all over! "ok jonny what did you get for numero 1"
