Didn't know anything about theater but now I know plenty... Was pretty much a no-nonsense class. Do the assignments, ask questions if you're not sure and pass the class. Have to see 2 live shows and watch Death of a Salesman. Pretty easy course if you just do the work!

Lots to read but since I like theater. Whenever I had a question, he answered it within 24 hours - usually sooner. Never had a prof who responded so fast.

Textbook was okay but hard to find answers to the chapter questions sometimes. Strict on turn in dates and late work. Had to read script and watch death of a salesman... Long play to read.

Great way to get a fine arts elective. Didn't know anything about theater and now I do! Some chapters we boring but others were pretty interesting. Mcafee was always answering emails quick! If I had a question, he had an answer. Have to see 2 live plays and I really liked that. Submit assignments on time or you lose points.

Great course. I liked that there were no discussion forums that are busy work in other online classes. I did my work and if I had a question, Tracey got back to me within a day and sometimes even sooner! Graded fairly. I got to work at my own pace which I loved! A lot of writing but what do you expect? It's a college level course.

Pretty good professor and not a overall tough workload if you pace yourself. I liked that we had to go to see 2 plays on our own and the papers weren't too bad since Tracy put examples on Sakai for us to look at. Don't be late with assignments since you lose late points even if it's turned in 5 minutes late. I will say that he is a good professor

I thought it was a great online class. I knew when assignments were due and he put examples of the Reaction Papers on Sakai. He always answered my questions within 24 hours. Takes some work but very fair in his grading. Make sure you turn assignments in before the due date or you lose points.

Comment:

Good teacher who wants you to do well. The only complaint I have with him is that the assignments are worth too few points. A large paper should be worth more than 25 points. This made it difficult to get solid grades on all assignments.

Didn't know much about theater at beginning but really interested in it now. Macafee graded assignments quickly and gave good feedback. Don't miss turning in an assignment because he takes off for late work. Put dates on calendar so you don't miss one.

Just finished the THEA 120 online course with McAfee. He is very helpful and explains exactly what he wants. You have to stay up on all assignments or you will not do well. You must submit the assignments on time or it's only worth 1/2 credit. He failed a friend of mine because he cheated-he made up a Reaction Paper on a play that didn't happen.

Good class. You have specific deadlines and if you are late, you lose points. I worked ahead and it was manageable. You have to see 2 live plays and do several papers. You have to read a Death of A Salesman and do a play analysis on it. Tracy graded assignments quickly and whenever I had a question, he always responded quickly.

Great online class. You have to turn in assignments ontime or it's worth 1/2 credit. I learned a lot about theatre - of which I knew nothing about. It's a lot of work but very rewarding. Not for the procrastinator - he is fair and he responds fast to questions. Good class if you work hard.
