Really funny guy. Must show up to class because his tests are mainly based on lectures. Have to pay attention because he goes a little too fast and it's hard to catch up on notes. I recommend recording his lectures. Other than that, great professor! Just take good notes and study them HARD and you're good to go!

Bulmer is a funny and nice guy, but it's way too hard. He really knows what he's lecturing, but seems to forget that his students may not all be genuine biology geeks. I found it most disappointing that he doesn't hand out notes or puts up slides on blackboard, which would be so helpful. His lectures are very unorganized and he's all over the place

he's seriously the coolest guy at nova. he knows everything about everything, but doesnt expect the same from you. and he's freakin hilarious. one thing though, it can be hard to keep up with his lectures, so be prepared to write as much as u can as fast as u can.

Bulmer is a very funny man. He makes very witty jokes that just fly over everyone's head. He is hard to follow sometimes but youll probably end up dong better in his class than you expect if you actually go sometimes.

He is a really cool and funny professor. Love his sense of humor. His lectures aren't boring but they are hard to follow sometimes because they are a bit unorganized. the material is difficult and it's hard to get all the notes. The tests are hard. The lab is easy though. I might pass with a D, but Mr. Bulmer is still a great guy.

He is seriously so cute. He totally reminds me of Santa Claus' cool brother.. a little bit of Mr Rogers with a cough. He's so funny because if he taught middle schoolers and told the same jokes, they'd be on the floor. I love it. So not indimidating at all.. DEFINITELY take him.

I absolutly loved Mr. Bulmer. He is a really cool older man who reminds me a lot of a Rodney Dangerfield/Santa Claus (minus the beard) mix. If you show up for all of the classes, take good notes and study the book, you will do very well. He really knows his stuff. Awesome guy. Go Bulmer!

He's aight...I studied my ballz off tho. He tends to make tests extremely hardddddd. He'll drop the lowest grade so you wont need to take the final if u pass all ur tests. I had decent grades until the DNA section. I ended up wit a B. Bulmer is a cool laid back guy. But sumtimes he can putcha to sleeeep

He's a good teacher, knows his thing. Lecture could be boring, you have to record it. Information in lectures is a lot so transcribing his lectures are very time consuming.Everything he says is asked in the exams. Personal comments from lects. comes in the exams as extra credit, listen carefully to what he says in class. He's laid back/funny in class

I recommend recording his lectures. And study EVERY night. It's not that the test are hard, there is just SO much info you have to know but only like 15% of it will be on the quiz

He is a really nice guy and will help you if you ask for help. The material is hard and the test are hard. He lecture the whole time, but puts his on touch on it by telling stories. He also teaches stuff out of the book which i love. He is the best professor i have had in two years, but you must be willing to put work in to the class.

Horrible teacher for this class! Sits on a stool and talks the entire time with a very monotone voice. Most of the class fails the tests and your time would be better spent learning from the book! His study guides don't even touch on what he actually tests on and they're much harder than expected!

Attendence is required for the first 3 weeks. Take good notes. His tests reflect what he talks about in class, unless it's something that requires memorization. I only read the textbook to answer some of the questions on his review sheets or to look at diagrams. Take him if you won't skip or fall asleep easily. He is always willing to help.

This is a realy cool proffesor, got me interested in biology. You will need to read the book before you come to class, other wise you dont know what the hell hes talking about, uses the board to draw diagrams but they never help out. The best part about him is the stories he wieves into his lectures.

do NOT take bulmer! he is failing everyone in the class. His lectures do not reflect the book; they don't even cover what will be on the tests! he takes abstract concepts that are merely mentioned and tests you on those concepts. it's awful. AVOID HIM!

He's a nice guy, caring about everyone. It's just that his class is pretty darn hard. I'm still in his class right now, i'm looking at the study guide he gave us, I dunno where to look up some of the material, because it's not in the book. Google doesn't have it. THis class is just a hard class. Just take another class if u can.
