Comment:
Dr. Anne is very caring and would help you through materials when you ask for help. The lectures were recorded, short, and very informative. Make sure that you attend her lectures because the material she discusses are the ones that she uses for evaluation and does not focus on the textbook at all.

Really caring prof. All lectures were available by the start of the week, were super short and had subtitles which saved a lot of time transcribing them. Show up for weekly discussion because those are easy participation marks.

She is the WORST professor I have ever had. I did not learn much in this course and she is a VERY hard marker. Choose another professor if you can.

She's a really nice proff and caring, The content in the course isn't bad at all, although her lecture videos can be very fast and goes through the material fast, but you can always slow it down. The mastering was straight forward, the weekly group discussions marks is basically given to you so long as you participate in them. Overall amazing proff

Dr. Johnson is a very sweet prof, and she made the course much more bearable in COVID times. Her powerpoint slides are a little boring and she reads through them quickly, but there were plenty of free marks for discussion questions. Mastering quizzes were a pain tho. Overall, she made a boring course decent.

Mentally prepare yourself for some boring lectures. Not only that but she insists on leaving the graphs in her PowerPoint slides blank, so that you have to go and create the graphs yourself. When informed about this issue, she essentially responded "too bad, that's the way its done".

This was a very hard course. Lectures were very light and in no way shape or form prepared you for the tests or the final exam. Was told to not read the textbook for many things because she said she disagreed with it a lot, but you NEED to know the book front to back just to pass. Felt like a way to advanced class :(

A NIGHTMARE. Exams set you up to fail- content is from textbook she said NOT to use as she disagreed with it and lectures are confusing and uninformative. All lab marks uploaded wrong,30% lower than students actual marks and haven't been fixed,TAs say is profs mistake but she has not acknowledged it. Steer clear if you want to keep your sanity/GPA

She doesn't even know how to teach because her midterms and final exams are not reflective of what is being taught in class. Her lectures are so VAGUE and the annotations she makes on each slide is practically useless because it does not further your understanding or help you when you study. If this course is mandatory good luck passing :'(

This was the worst class I've ever taken at Ryerson. She keeps saying that she disagrees with the textbook a lot and leaves the class with no resource to study from since her lectures and slides have nothing to do with the test. She seems so confused about the course material and leaves the questions unanswered in the class. Don't take this course.

I have previously rated her on BCH361, but now I'm going to talk about 436. It's obvious she likes this course and is somewhat excited to talk about pharm chem. Class discussions did lose sight of the main discussion at times, and she is always open to hear ideas. The lowest grade for the midterm was a 60%, that should tell you the toughness.

Johnson was actually very fair. She obviously didn't want us to memorize but to understand what she teaches. That includes not memorizing mechanisms. Labs weren't that bad, some people need to learn time management (ie not leaving your manuscript to the night before). I'm no genius - I did well bc I took good notes. Btw she bell curves final grades
