Comment:

Prof. Karkowski was inspirational. She is such a sweet lady she would say hello to every student and then ask how they were doing which is rare for any professor. Her grading is quite easy and the quizzes are even easier. There is a lot of work, however, but you will succeed if you try. You will learn a lot about yourself in her class too!

Comment:

Dr. Karkowski is a very nice teacher who is super into research. You will do a ton of reading and have to work on you paper a bunch, but if you are willing to keep up with the reviews for the papers and the reading you will do great. She is a very helpful teacher and very willing to meet during her office hours to help you with the papers.

She's a wonderful professor and her class is really helpful. Although, her class is not easy and you have to earn your grade. Go to her if you ever need help. She wants you to succeed. Also she gives you a good foundation for future courses that involve research and APA writing. One of the most helpful courses I have ever taken!

Comment:

I'm not sure why she has a smiling face. While incredibly clear and intelligent, Dr. Karkowski is amazingly condescending and fails to memorize even the most obvious of names - like her advisees, for example. I never know if I should be incredibly mean or just apathetic toward her, because I cannot interact with her normally. Rough, rough class.

Dr. Karkowski knows what she's talking about. Very informative and helpful, even if the class sounds scary at first. Do the work, pay attention, ask questions and you'll do fine. Very fair professor

She is a hard core woman. Her personality demands respect, she doesnt take crap and she doesnt look downon people who arnt sure what they are doing. I took a requisite class so not all of us were going to be stats people. But she is soo clear and really helpful. SHOW UP FOR CLASS failure to prepare is preparing to fail in her class. But she is good

Assigns a LOT of homework, but she only does it so you understand the material well. She is very helpful in and out of class. The class was a little boring, but there's no reason you shouldn't get a A or B.

She also teaches psych 350. I found her research methods class to be hard but fair. Pay attention to your notes for the tests and be there to understand them.She is a really nice person
