She is absolutely the most amazing person I've met as a professor at NEIU. She is interested in what you're doing with your academic career aside from Spanish and she gives good advice too. Very helpful! You'll learn a lot from her. Very encouraging to people who are not comfortable with Spanish in the first place!

She's a great teacher! We covered a lot of vocab but it was fun & interactive & she is probably the hottest professor I've seen at NEIU! My only qualm is her "mandatory attendance" policy. However, I would definitely take another class with her (or eat broken glass for her)...whichever.

If you want to learn Spanish and have fun while learning it, then professor Alfaro is the teacher. She's an awesome teacher, helpful, encouraging, and very good at teaching. I am not a native speaker but ended up learning A WHOLE LOT in her class. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

SHE IS A EASY TEACHER IF YOU DO YOU DO THE WORK OTHER THAN THAN AS LONG YOU PARTICIPATE IN HER CLASS AND READ THE MATERIAL IT WILL BE A BREEZE TO PASS HER CLASS. One of the nicest teachers around. I've had her for two semesters and i understand everything she explains. She helps you out and is there when you need her. She makes the course fun not boring like others. I wish she taught the 300 level courses.
