Had Mr. Moran's class a few years back. Very good instructor, nice. He was very patient.I didn't know a thing about drawing, I do now! Really helped students interest in students that came to class and worked hard.

horrible.. always late.. me and my friend actually make bets how late we think he'll be.. randomly walks out of the room all the time.. boring.. monotone.. not approachable.. not helpful at all.. makes me feel like he's lost all hope in me.. really disliked this class.. and wasn't good at the beginning and didn't feel like i made any improvement

I had him for 2d and beg. drawing. He always came late..atleast 15 minutes late. Then he would take tons of brakes for longer than 15 minutes. also he never really taught...never really had anything good to say. everything was horrible to him. his grading was ridiculous! i will never take a class of his again...its a waste of money.

Meh. Very monotone and spaced-out. Not helpful when asked for advice/concepts; one class he likes your design idea, the next class he criticizes it. I stopped asking for his help due to his inconsistent teaching. I personally like the extended breaks but he also likes to leave early so you can't work all the way through. Take somebody else!

Horrible instructor. Arrived late and left early every class. Only spent time w/ students who "got" it. Avoided anyone who needed help. Only time he was upbeat was when he got to demonstrate stuff himself. Unaccessible, boring, unprofessional and learned absolutely nothing from him. Oh yeah, forgot unorganized and unenthusiastic.

I will never take a class from this man again. He never arrived on time. His classroom was often out of control. Poor teaching ability. Very vague and unclear with direction. His lectures could bore the dead! his 15 minute breaks are typically more like 20-25 minutes and you get two or three, plus you leave 30 minutes - 1 hour early per class

He is very unprofessional. He is always late and ill prepared for class. He does not follow the syllabus nor does he tell us what supplies to bring for the next class. He seems to be a talented artist but his laid-back teaching style and unprofessionalism is annoying.

Design Foundation. I couldn't stand this man for the first half of the semester because he was SO negative and it seemed like he didn't like anyone's work but his own, but by the end I think he had toned it down a bit, and I stopped having a problem with him. Boring, but I might take him again.
