Really bad at explaining everything...you leave the classroom completely confused and the homework is completely irrelevant to the tests

Overall relatively easy class. Study the handouts he gives you and work the homework and you will do fine. quizzes and tests are very in-depth but if you know what is on the handouts, you will do fine on both.

Class is very hard. Tests are NOTHING like the homework! Jumps around the book, which does not allow you to get a grasp on the material. Did NOT curve tests. You do get a 3% bonus added to your final grade IF you make an A on the quizzes. With the bonus, most people got a C! Expects students to be able to analyze like a CPA. VERY FRUSTERATING!

DL isn't too bad. For his tests just remember "know whats going on" and you should be okay. He grades on a nice curve so it should help you out in the end. 88 and up is considered an A. Beware of the homeworks though they are time consuming. Oh and don't forget to spend your time on ALEKS (he assigns before class starts)

I love DL! He's such a great guy. Intermediate is a tough, but if you pay attention in class, and put effort into the homework, you should do fine. His homework assingments are long, but they will help. You have to really understand concepts to do well on the tests. However, the actual computation problems on the tests are not as hard as the hw.

Accounting is hard, but he does his best to teach it to you. He grades on a set curve, and an 85 and above is considered an A. His test are really applied, and his homework assignments are long. Watch out for his quizzes. His project is actually pretty easy and a good way to boost your grade. If you work hard you can get an A.

Lanier was great. Whoever said he sucks clearly was a poor student. If you work hard you get what you deserve.

Good teacher. Tests are fair. Gives you resources to do well. If you don't study you will do bad, but if you do the work you will do well.

This was Dr. Lanier's first semester and we were his guinea pigs. He experimented on us with different varieties of tests and quizes. He is nice and tries his best but, boy are his tests a killer. He gave us extra time on the final and it took 3hrs 20min

Lanier sucks! He is very set in his ways and its his way or the highway. Tests are pretty difficult and he purposely makes them that way to reduce the class average (no ****, he actually told us that). Take Cobb.
