She is very nice and is obsessed with rocks. She spends at least half of the class with "labs" which makes it go by faster. It was really hard for a 100 level class but she knows it is and has an expanded grading scale(very expanded). Do not miss class, take notes, and don't slack on the final project and you'll be fine. She'll help if you need it.

DO NOT MISS CLASS. She obviously loves science and she makes it interesting, so as long as you put in effort and don't shrug it off, you'll do fine. A little bit of work for a 100 level class

This was my hardest class at findlay which is ridiculous when it is a 100 level course. She is not very kind and very unhelpful. i really felt as if she did not want to be teaching us but when you pay the professor to be there they should at least act like they care. Please never take this course unless you really have too

AVOID. This professor lives and dies for science. Unless you are a science or science related major DO NOT take her courses. I had to take this course for an elective for a business major and it is by far my hardest class. Way too much work for a 100 level course. I created this account to make this entry alone.

Comment:
Ms. Cape is challenging and fair. GEOL 120 is a very good class. It's a lot of work for a 100 level class. But I do like her style. She is very knowledgable, excited about the topic, and students do a lot of hands-on exercises in class. The class is academically challenging, but interesting, and I recommend her.

When she is teaching she tends to ver off the subject and go onto another subject then goes back to the subject again. Also, she has a huge project dealing with the place where you live and if it is in findlay then you have to find another place.
