Fair bit of homework with quizzes and assignments but questions are not too tricky. He's taught this course many times before and is well versed which shows in the top quality of the lectures. Practice material is representative of the exams.

Gives a course pack for 342 where you write all your notes, which you can bring into exams. So make sure you go to class and get all the notes needed. He is very helpful in his office hours. Gave in class assignments and online quizzes about once a week, but these prepare you well for his exams. Can do these in groups. You can't go wrong with him.

Have had for two courses now, but disliked in both. Heavily used textbook because going to class felt pointless, in class notes are not good and confusing. Very unorganized and all over the place.

The course kind of changed this semester as he and the other prof combined to give us the same assignments,quizzes and midterms.All of those were harder compared to other years. Nevertheless this guy was an awesome prof and cared a lot about his students. He explained stuff well in class and was extremely helpful during office hours.

Well His Midterms and Quizes are easy, as for assignments...if you go to his office hours and ask you will get 100% easily on them. He gets his point across clearly but his understanding seems suspect though. but he is great prof non the less.

Generally hard to understand and his notes are horribly disorganized, he just writes all over the board wherever there's space. Exams and quizzes are very easy. Difficult to understand at times in class, also doesn't show a very good understanding of the material as the year goes on.

As a person, he's a pretty good guy. As a prof, he's fairly good at getting his point across, despite the random mumbling. He goes a bit too fast across his powerpoint slides, but otherwise he's very aproachable and willing to help the student learn.
