Dr. L is a good teacher, he likes to talk with his students and get to know them. He doesnt talk about the class however, he focuses only on his life and his mistakes. He knows everything about his subject. For tests, study main ideas that appear on the book and what he tellos you to study.

Some of the students who commented on Dr.L are the type people he cannot stand..he is harder on athletes because he was one and a successful one,coach etc..he does not baby sit you and he makes you earn your grade! If you are joke..he will see right through you and you are in for a long class...he tells you his mistakes NOT his accomplishments!!

Expects too much from students. Claims he doesn't care what people think of him, yet constantly goes around the class and has everyone tell them what they think. He seems to brag about the fact that he has received numerous death threats which shows the kind of person he is (mean, negative, and not understanding). Do not recommend

He says he cares about the students and is always there for help, but says he already explained it to you so you are right back where you started. He gives out a TON of work. You have to type up notes for every chapter and he goes over hem on the powerpoint. You also have major presentations which he is a huge stickler abuot. Athletes get the A's.

Awful professor. Some people think that he cares, but in reality unless you are a hockey player he won't give you the time of day. I've gotten B+'s or better in all his classes because I do the opposite of the study techniques he preaches about. I love the major and encourage people to join it, but beware because he makes classes terrible at times.

He is the worst teacher that i have ever had. It is a lot of work which i dont mind but it was an entry level class and i was one of 6 freshmen in a class of 37. He doesnt tell u what you do wrong on your papers and they have to be in APA format (who has heard of that???) hes a smart ass and acts like hes done everything sports related

way way way way too much work for an intro level course. avoid taking marketing 101 if at all possible. tough grader and has no problem putting students on the spot. he does care about student progress but does not quite understand the right way of going about it. there are much easier teachers to take marketing from...don't do it!

Dr. L is a tough ass! He demands so much of his students BUT he pushes you to see how talented you really are! The guy CARES for his students and his classes are fun and meaningful! He teaches how to be a leader of your life and after your realize your talents and strengeths you can become and great leader...he is one of them!
