Dr. Spross is very passionate about theology but doesn't take into consideration that some students do not have the same passion as him. His test are no less than 100 questions. His essays are in depth so do not start them the last minute.

VERY HARD PROFESSOR! If you don't want to read the assignments you will not pass. That being said, definitely makes up for it. Dude is brilliant, but isn't arrogant about it. Really cool personality, fun to listen to (if you like the subject) and super nice. I'd recommend if you're willing to put in the work.

Basically, if you don't read or pay attention in class, you won't pass. He is fairly tough but is also exceptionally helpful and wants you to succeed. Don't be afraid to ask for help!! He knows what he teaches and you will learn so much from him; just don't skimp on reading and make sure you study.

He is an AWESOME prof. You definitely have to do the work and reading, but he's not impossible-hard like some students would have you believe. His class was very interesting and he was very willing to stay after class and talk or clarify things, and was altogether a great professor to have.
