I don't even know where to start. First off talking to her is like talking to a wall - cant explain the assignment differently for students that are confused. Very broad, doesn't really answer your question so you end up in an email war back and forth with each other. If you have this professor...I am deeply sorry.

I took this course when it was in it's testing phase and she did not know how to teach it. AND SHE HELPED DEVELOP THE COURSE. She was unclear about most of the assignments in the class, and refused to reanswer questions, even if she wasn't clear the first time. She WILL yell at the class about an unfinished assignments and isn't always friendly.

Wonderful professor. gives many many many pop quizzes, at least 1 per week. gives extra credit if you go to events, also if you have perfect attendance. you can skip the final if you have perfect attendance. must have the textbook in class.

If you skip a class on the day a paper was assigned you can't hand that paper in. Required a doctors note for an absence. Way too many papers and her talking will make you fall asleep. Will analyze your paper like a hawk analyzes its prey. I would rather sit on tacks than take this class again

Great professor! Lots of easy bonus points, pay attention and take notes. Everything discussed in class is on the test. If you make the effort you'll be fine! She's very fair, make sure you introduce yourself at the beginning of the semester, she respects that effort from you.
