Absolutely amazing person, he had Covid-19 and still stayed positive and helpful by switching up his class to help us and make sure we'd still get an A. One of my favorite people in the world and has great lecture-style!

He was going through a lot when I had him for class, but he never came to class without a smile. He's so caring and wonderful. He gives you note handouts and all you have to do is fill in the blanks. His tests were a lot of fill in the blanks too.. but he was easy and fun! One of the nicest men I know.

Education in the Church was a great class. I would think that it is one of the most important classes which directly impacts congregational growth. So any minister interested in helping the church grow needs to take this class... even if he has to audit it.

Dr. Powell is so much fun and extremely random. In the middle of teaching, he will sudden burst out with a random comment which is always pointless and hilarious. His memory verse tests are also rather easy.
