His class was super easy but hes not the best professor around. This was my first class online since Id come from abroad. He was not very helpful in answering several queries I had and he asked me to drop out of his class and take an easier one! But easy grade, I took this class to complete my GE. He must be more approachable.

This is about the class overall. so pointless. You have to buy a $100 access code to do all the assignments on, the professor sends out the syllabus and never says anything after the first day. all the quizzes and exams are on q*****t and there's a few written assignments that you need to use outside sources for. why did I pay $100. easy class tho

Comment:

This was an online class and you do have to buy the book in order to take the quizzes and test, if you have the book open it is really easy. There are a few short papers that you have to do but they are only one page each so pretty easy to do one you get the hang of it, would take again.

I took his class for a 4 week online course. He will fail you if you do not make word count, even if you miss just by 10 words. He failed my concert attendence report all because of the word count. He is extremely rude in the comments response. He has no compassion for those who take his class. Was left feeling like a failure.

Took this class online over the summer as a 4 week course and its a super easy A. Weekly quizzes and discussions and a few writing assignments but as long as you do these in time you'll do fine. 1 midterm and final with the same questions as the quizzes. Tip: prepare for the concert report early on in the semester as its worth your whole grade

I think there are better professors out there. My experience with him is not the best, he grades the written assignments pretty hard. He treats everyone in the class as if they are music majors, which is understandable but excessive since most of us are here to complete our GEs.

Comment:

I took his class which is MUS-104 in FALL 2018. He is the best teacher in Ohlone College. Clear in grading. Super easy A. A lot of extra credits. However, there were many assignments and quizzes in this class; as long as you do all the assignments, essays, and quizzes, then you would be fine (at least B).

I would not take this class again. There is so much work to be completed in such a short amount of time, it's ridiculous. Also, he is not there to help at all when you have any questions regarding the class. You have to read so much as well to succeed in his class, I wouldn't take him again. He's not really caring at all, major skip! Don't take.

This is a work intensive class, you have to spend alot of time working to get a good grade. It is consisted of a ton of busy work and and I do not recommend it at all. If you miss assignments, your grade will be dropped tremendously. I do not recommend taking his class, lots of readings, quizzes and a ton of hw assignments, no thanks!!!

. Keller assigns a mountain of busy work, gives very picky weekly quizzes, hard tests requiring detailed memorization, and requires concert attendance. He must approve the concert, however, and it's hard to find a concert he approves. There is no communication with instructor at all. You work very hard and learn nothing. Not recommended!

This is a really boring class, there is no communication between class and professor at all. It is all self done work, with hardly any feedback. I do not recommend this professor, he is not helpful at all and it is a ton of busy work and a lot of reading. Class was not interesting at all, it is more work rather than interesting reading.

Comment:

Good course to take for completing GE arts section or as a GPA booster not to learn the real stuff. Online course needs access code and there is quiz at the end of each chapter, mid-term,finals,assignments and concert report. Lot of work but easy to get A. Team work will help in taking mid-term,finals as they are timed and collaboration will help.

I wouldn't recommend taking his class, while it isn't tough, you don't learn anything. All you do is read the book and watch videos and or listen to some music and try to figure out what it is depicting. There is no professor interaction, he barely responds to your emails with like 1 word responses, I do not recommend. Unhelpful professor. Nope.

I do not recommend this course, it may be a little easy, but there is barely any communication with the professor at all. The concert assignment is confusing and it's hard to locate one that meets his standards in a short period of time. There is a bunch of readings each chapter and quizzes weekly. Then you have tests as well, not recommended.

I did not enjoy this class, I took it over the summer and it was a lot of work and it wasn't too enjoyable. He wasn't that good of a professor, he didn't communicate to us much at all, just here and there. I don't recommend taking his class, it's somewhat easy, but I'd rather take another class where the professor is more active and caring.

I took his Music 104 class during the summer semester and I don't recommend it, it's a very fast paced 4 week class, there is a ton of work. He is unclear on many of the assignments assigned and I feel as if he wasn't to helpful much throughout the class. The concern assignment was difficult, because it's hard to find one in time. Not recommended.
