Comment:

One of the best professors I've had at Solano math is not my best subject . I had to drop two other math teachers because i felt so overwhelm until I found Mr. Domingo, I took math 320 he explain math were I was able to understand and actually pass my test. The quiz's are multiple choices, he allow notes and calculator.

Comment:

This professor really cares about his students and he wants you to pass. His teaching style is different. If you love math this is probably not the class for you. If you are only taking this class because you need it just show up and do your best on the test and you will pass.

I took two difference class with this professor. Math its not an easy subject for me, but this professor made it easy to understand. His always available and even though he can look a little intimidating his a nice guy with lots of math knowledge. His test are multiple choice and there are make up quizzes for extra credit. Cool Professor!

Nice guy, but his teaching style is not something I could recommend to anyone. His tests usually don't have things in common with the lectures. He also makes different parts of the tests worth more than other parts. The homework rarely has anything to do with info in lectures. Most people in my class were not passing. Consider a different professor

Professor Soria is very nice, caring, and makes Statistics easy. He knows a lot of this topic and explains it with a lot of examples. You can always ask for his help, and uses MyMathLab with a lot of extra credit quizzes and exams.

Very fun and easy teacher. He made stats somewhat interesting and he's funny. He's very caring and will give extra credit on tests most of the time. I recommend him if you are going to take stats!

For this class it's important you take notes because it goes by quickly and there's lots of information he covers. He lets you use a note card on the test which is extremely helpful, also he allows calculators. Homework is done online and is due at the end of the semester, don't wait last minute because some assignments are 37-100 questions long.

Professor Soria is the best math teacher. some students do not appreciate him enough. he is kind, patient and gives you every opportunity to succeed. he goes the extra mile. I had him for math 320 and took him for 330 but had to withdraw due to heavy academic load. signed up for fall though.....

This is one of the best teachers at CRC. He genuinely cares about students and if you understand the concepts. The tests are long and scary but it's worth it in the end. He will work with you if you communicate! Also gives points for trying not just right answers. He loves math and wants you take the fear of it away from his students. VETS CHOICE

While taking his class I was completely lost majority of the time. He doesn't explain the problems well and when you go up to ask him its still a blank answer. I would not recommend him at all. He is a nice guy but teaching wise It just doesn't work out. I have never been so frustrated in a class. My whole class was confused the entire semester

Took his Elementary ALgebra Class for the summer('13) - it was a hard class because it is all crammed into the summer BUT he was extremely helpful and provided over 2 hours of office time everyday so we could come in and study with him. Beyond his great teaching abilities, he made the class fun for everyone. Overall Fantastic Teacher and great guy.

Had to teach myself, was NOT fun. I basically learned by doing the homework on MyMathLab and using the helper tabs on the side, while watching the online courses the ebook provides. Then struggled my way through tests. Not very kinetic-learner friendly.

Very good stats teacher. He offers time outside of class if you need extra help. Answers all questions during class as well. Would recommend him to all first time stats students.
