Very smart dude. The class is very laid back; A basic quiz on the material he just lectured on at the end of each class, no tests (except for the final, which is TF), three basic HW assignments, and a fairly straightforward project. He's hilarious in a weird way because he talks for the entire period, every period. His yammering is quite endearing.

I took his computer class and he is so boring and mono toned. textbook was helpful and he used clickers, so easy points. so he was an ok teacher, but I was unmotivated to go to class because it was an hour and 15 minutes of playing on my phone.

A really nice guy that really knows what he is teaching. Just ask questions and make sure you understand since like any class it keeps moving.

Class was easy (I did better in it than I did in the lower division stats class at Clovis Center). He lets you have 1 page of notes for the 1st test, 2 pages for the second, and 3 pages for the comprehensive final...makes the tests pretty easy. However, he grades tough on the homework (which we do in class) and on labs.

The class was very easy, but I don't think it was because of anything he did. Very nice guy, but not the best teacher.

This is a dry subject, but he does his best to make the weekly essays interesting. The discussions on the assignments are the best part of the class, but the lectures just aren't stimluating. No exams other than the final, which covers the lectures and was all true/false. No math other than basic algebra. Not a bad prof, material is just dull. Easy if you keep up with homework.

He takes forever to finish his sentences, like he doesn't prepare his lectures. Here's how class goes: Tries to lecture on material, goes over the homework (he doesn't collect it) gives a problem to work out, you turn that in, you're done. Endless cycle. Its boring, but if you're good @ math the book is easy to follow. Class should b optional. lol

Excellent professor. The course was very well taught...it's hard but if you do the homework and you do the problems in the book you will get an A. I liked him a lot. I took DS 71 and DS 123 with him and i liked him. Very knowledgeable person. Be ready for hard work.

Yeah if you get distracted by hand gestures do not take this class. Besides that..homework is not required but the answers are on the web for students to check their answers. In class questions are given at the end of most every class, but are used towards extra credit. Only 3 exams and the final. Pretty easy!

I would challenge him to teach for one class period with his hands in his pockets; IMPOSSIBLE. His hands are always moving. He takes forever to finish explaining something. It's a boring yet easy class.

HORRIBLE. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. You can NOT teach math by telling us to do homeowork and then rushing through it in class. Boring as well. In class work every day. Just awful. I'm sorry I didn't drop this right off. Don't make my mistake.
