Joe is a really nice guy, but SO monotone, and his lectures are really long and boring. He posts all of the powerpoint lectures online, so going to class is worthless (however he does do random attendance checks which contribute to your participation grade). Tests and quizzes are extremely wordy.

THE WORST PROFESSOR I HAVE EVER HAD. He is by far the most boring I've ever had to sit through, and the tests were impossible. When I went to him for one on one help he was completely useless and unsympathetic. Coming from someone who does not usually put in a lot of effort, I had to study A LOT for this class. Don't take it if you can avoid it

He is a nice guy, but MONOTONE to no end. Lecture will put you to sleep every single time, but you have to come for the pop quizzes. Its true you can talk to whoever you want for the in class quizzes, but they are really hard so a lot of times you end up guessing anyway. Exams are okay, but you REALLY have to study his study guide extensively.

Joe is a great guy, his lectures arent the most fun but they are bearable. The pop quizes are jokes and you can talk to anyone you want in the lecture and get answers....so you dont really need to study for them. The quizes in discussion arent that bad either you just have to read a few pages a week. Bottom line..Joe is the man

Lengermann DOES NOT post slides on Blackboard anymore. Anyone that thought this was going to be an easy "A" was most likely mistaken. He "uhhhh's" after every single uhhhh word and uhh is really boring. Take this class if you want to read the book and memorize details down to the little boxes in the chapters. P.S. I think he's close to deaf

he's dry and it's hard to keep your interest. he writes exactly what is inthe book on the powerpoints, but if you pay attention the class is extremely easy. i think he means well and is intelligent, he just needs to find another way of presenting material more clearly.

I tallied up the times he said "umm" or "uhhh" in the class, and it was more than 100. He goes on tangents that arn't even interesting, and pretty much makes you so bored you'll want to gauge your eyes out. he means well and the class is easy though.

Tests are not too easy, but keeping up with lecture/discussion quizzes and papers count for a lot (45%). Incredibly boring, but surprises student with pop quizzes, so most have to go to lecture in anticipation of them. Teaches straight from the textbook, more interesting to just read it before the test.
