Dr. McPherson is an awesome professor. I took this class online and received a 4.0. There is a lot of work, but like I said it was an online class and she really wanted you to understand the information and gain something from the class. I had to dedicate a lot of time to the class, but I gained so much knowledge about computers. Highly recommend.

She always gave great feedback and made sure you understood EVERYTHING. Even after completing an assignment, she would explain why you got points off if you did, or tell you how awesome you did. Everything was pretty easy and she was so nice. Would take her again!

She was SUPER NICE. I accidentally registered for this online class instead of another and she helped me so much cause it showed i wasnt in the class. She went out of her way to help me on so many levels, truely a generous person!

Professor McPherson is by far the best professor I've had for an online class. She gives substantial feedback on each and every assignment and as long as you follow the directions, it makes getting an A much easier. It is very obvious that she cares about the success of her students and does everything that she can to help along the way.

A very work intensive course, but you will learn a great deal about the subject matter, including practical application. Responds promptly to e-mails, problems involving Blackboard are dealt with quickly, clear and thorough answers to questions asked, gives helpful feedback on assigned work, coursework is interesting and involves creativity.

Overall, great teacher and good class. Classwork is right to the point and not tedious, instructions are easy to follow, and tests are based on the book. She grades fairly, its an easy class if you do your work and stay up to date. I would recommend Professor McPherson for an online class.

Very good class, but ddo not take in the summer 7 week session. Class work was very demanding. Teacher was very helpful. There is a problem with having the previous work done before going on to the next assignment I got a week behind because of this. There was to many HTML assignments and not enough time spent learning about basic computers.

Dr. McPherson was my first professor after a lengthy absense from school. My earlier study was command line DOS with a 144Mhz IBM Clone Windows'95. Dori had to teach me how to Zip and Compress a file and then attach it to an email. I was GUI Illiterate and am now a total compugeek. She's a great instructor and a wonderful person. Realy great Class

I think that was the Course, but it was Microsoft Access. I found the class to be hard because you had to use the previous week's files for the next and the grading time was very slow. I got a week behind because everything wrong is 50% off the grade and you have to resubmit. Ended up catching up a bit and then spring break slowed things even more.

Great teacher, fun class. Even taking it on campus, she makes it somewhat like an OE/OE class. Blackboard use is mandatory online or in class. For those confused, the one book essentially holds your hand through the first half of the class and she'll help. Actual tests and such are open book. Everything is completable at home or at a library/lab.

Not sure how this teacher got positive reviews.Do not take this as an online class or you are screwed!Only take online if your familiar with programming and not new to it.She expects you to get html/xhml right away.Too many assignments.Get a tutor quick if u get stuck.I got a really good grade but still I feel this class is hard for beginners.

Excellent, supportive, responsive instructor! I'm not a true geek but assignments very interesting. Many related to tech stuff we use (cell phones, blogs,etc.). Bonus-I learned how to create a 4-page Web site! It was fun. I would have enjoyed it even more in the classroom. Tip: online students, go to the SC lab pronto if you get stuck.

Great Professor. she knows what she's doing and enjoys doing it. she was also very helpful. there was a lot of work to be done in the class, but its all on Blackboard and you get a few days off every semester. Great teacher - Ok Course.
