She is funny.. she is so nice to everyone and she askes how everyone is before class. her homework is expected to be done. a big fan of papers and writing and assigning them. she will give you one on one time instead of class somedays. No tests. mostly lecture no notetaking.

High grades for participation and for quality work. She picks apart literature, and it can be repetitive, but if you like English- VERY interesting, gets you to think. She has you buy a couple of books in novel form- no more than like, 40 bucks for all three and you use them.Take this class if you actually go to college to become more intelligent.

for someone who isnt very good in english and wanted to do well in the class. didnt help me i wouldnt take this class unless your really into english. gives you a rediculous amout of reading to do with mini essays and responses... NOT OK TAKE BOYLE shes amazing!

She looks so much like Molly Shannon. But anyway, some of her stuff is very geared towards feminism and multiculturalism, but it's all good stuff. I remember her being nice and she only ever seemed irritated when people blatantly didn't do the (usually) 10 page reading. As a student who now does about 50 pages of reading a day, come on??
