Fernando is absolutely amazing as an ensemble teacher. He takes student input seriously and overall is a really laid-back, cool guy. He let us choose our setlist, and his class felt more like a band rehearsal than an actual class. I would absolutely recommend him, he made ensemble a really enjoyable experience.

Wow, what a cat! Fernando is extremely talented and will inspire you to make great strides in your playing. Repertoire is very important, so be sure to pick up a "Real Book" from the bookstore. His feedback is invaluable, and his a wealth of knowledge to pass down, if you are willing to listen.

Fernando is the man, nice guy, good teacher, killer bass player, and he has the utmost dedication to your success. Best latin player I"ve ever seen!!!!!! (Ask him to play cissy strut, he can rock some crazy george porter grooves)
