I felt like this was one of the most beneficial classes I have ever taken. Oddou was a great professor as well, soft-spoken but clear and wise. I would recommend this class to anyone in any major.

Comment:

His oral exams are pretty tough, You need to know the global concepts and understand how they apply to real life situations. But I absolutely loved this class. It's not always the most exciting, but its very informative and relevant. I thought he was awesome.

Good teacher, he does not read from the book but makes up his own lectures. Two oral tests (follow the study guide and you will survive, but you MUST see relationships and ties between the subjects), couple of country quizzes, and one research paper-it's not an impossible task.

All these people giving him bad reviews are seriously lazy. So many people hated him in my class, but it's because they didnt read...and its absolutely necessary. I took probly 30 min to an hour tops to read material and participated...and he will love you. I really enjoyed this class and the people who gave him bad reviews are just lazy...

Horrible! Class is the worst! Test is extremely subjective. Don't really understanding the meaning of all the rambling,He missed 2 classes in the first few weeks, but notices when you miss class.

Oddou is a great teacher! He promotes critical thinking with his interesting classroom conversations and asking students what they think about a topic. You have to read and come prepared but if you're interested in global business you will love his classes. His testing can be pretty hard though.

I liked him, attendance is mandatory and there is a project that requires 15 hours of volunteer time but there is no final and exam 2 is done with your group. Reading is easy, take no more than a 1/2 hour before class. Discussion is important to him but volunteer too much and he discourages you.

Teaches a pseudo-science class about the vague subject of global marketing. I never knew how many pinko business students there were until this class... but that's beside the point. Oddou takes the scary path of teaching the subject of social moral relativism but never gives an objective basis. Hard papers, subjective tests... Be afraid.

Great teacher. His is not easy, a lot of work but you will learn a lot. He cares a lot about students. He is very willing to help anyone outside the classroom. Very open-minded. Interesting real world examples.
