He was somehow able to make a long lecture fun and engaging. The only grades are a midterm and a final so you need to study and prepare yourself but it is worth it.

Only gives a midterm and a final but doesn't give you any hints towards how the test is laid out. If you happen to take him still, make sure you ask people who had him for 101 how the test is laid out. Felt like everyone who had him before had a leg up on what to expect.

Mr. Joe is a very passionate teacher. Just get ready to read ALOT. He does like to help if you ask for it. In his course, only 2 test determine your grade. There is no extra credit or extra assignments. Just do the homework I promise you it will help you pass this course.

knows what he is talking about,is there to help you if you need it. tests are brutal for an introductory economics class. no partial credit or multiple choice on exams. You need to really understand the topics inside and out to get an A. Test ?: "a neighbor gets professional landscaping job done, why does this increase the value of the home?" idk

Worst academic experience ever. Prepare to teach yourself if you take this class online. Abrupt to the point of rude. Unyielding and uncooperative. I'm an A student and was all the way through junior year until this class.

He goes really fast, his handwriting is very hard to read on the chalkboard, he talks in circles, and he makes me feel intimidated to ask questions. The only two grades are a midterm and a final, closed note. I have yet to take them though so not sure of how tough. Be on time and DO NOT use your phone. Turn it on silent and keep it In your bag.

If you keep your phone off and don't bring food you wil go far. detailed notes are a must, because nothing is directly from the book. He will go off on any student for a wrong answer or a yawn or comment. Normally early morning class and hard to stay awake in. Only class room i ever saw with a chalk board. find another prof.

Great teacher, sweet guy. Don't text in class or talk while he is, you'll lose points. He's very clear with what he expects of you. Homework is optional but if done, can get you extra points.Only grades are the midterm and final, both open note. Take good notes you'll get an A

Do your homework. Actully take the time to read he book. Take good notes. He wants to run his class with no distractions, and no interruptions. The rules aren't difficult to follow. He's not a bad person. He's an old school teacher emphasizing that you are the one who is ultimately responsible for your education.

Worst class I've ever took in my college career. I believe he had some hardship in his life and chooses to make his students suffer for it. Very cold and uncaring. Every break students were complaining about his teaching methods. Yes this is college but a freshman course should not be over everyones head in the class.

I took Mr. Eucalano for both ECO101 and ECO102. I can honestly say I learned more from these two classes than I have from any other prof in the 3 years I've been @ wilmu. These negative comments are CRAZY! You do need the book, & attendance substantially helps your grade. But come on people- this is college!
