Jim inspired me to become a journalism major, he saw untapped potential in me. In many ways he's like my second advisor and is very involved, especially as the advisor to WJJW. His journalism background gives you great insight and his commentary on your writing is very helpful. He loves to talk, but you always walk away feeling you learned more.

Jim is...Jim. He's a nice guy, but likes to talk a lot. He's the current advisor of WJJW. His talking can be bad for meetings when a lot of the people there just want a quick and brief meeting. He tries really hard at what he does. He's a pretty cool guy.

For a part time professor, he's really involved. He's the adviser to the MCLA radio and helpful to the newspaper. He's clear and concise, but also flexible when it comes to writing articles and adjusting class times, even. He's funny, level headed, logical, and organized. What more could you ask for?
