I took Nutrition with this professor online and she gives a lot of advice on maintaining a healthy diet. However, be aware of 25-minute timed quizzes and do NOT procrastinate on assignments or quizzes - she will not accept anything that is late but the lowest grades will get dropped.

Talented teacher, light hearted, has a serious education! You will love her! Professor Rapps patient and kind nature shines in the classroom. She makes biochemistry understandable and is clear about what to study. If you follow her study guides and pay attention in class you will get an A. This professor wants you to succeed.

She will tell you to study exam review sheets along with questions in the back of the book and then ask nothing related to that information. Weighs her exams too heavy, more than 50% of your average. You can do excellent on homeworks/quizzes but it wont matter because of the exams. Overall is very likeable, loses track, rushes through lectures.

Good teacher. A little scatterbrained in an endearing way. Online hw/quizes, in class tests. Doesn't assign bookwork, the book is for your own benefit. Lovely woman with a passion for her subject. Wants you to pass, but won't spoonfeed you. Not a difficult class, but don't expect everything to be handed to you. Read the chapters and attend class.

The lecture is just a Microsoft presentation. half of the time you may fall asleep listening to the presentation. Lots of busy work homework. Near the end of the semester, you will have to straps down because she will skips slide and rush through chapters. and TESTS. Mind as well read and learn from the book.

Lisa Rapp is by far my favorite professor at STCC. She is concerned, caring, and brilliant and really has a knack for making you feel like an equal. She expects you to be responsible and complete your work on time and without reminding, but is there for extra help and questions and tries to make things as clear as possible. Love her!

Lisa was a poor lecturer, you basically did the assignments on your own. I barely passed this course because she gave me zeroes on assignments that were unassigned. She purposefully fails people she doesn't like.

Prof Rapp is an excellent teacher who really wants her students to succeed. You have to pull your own weight and study, of course, it's college. So, if you are lazy or not willing to study, you won't do well. She has a nice way of explaining difficult topics and her PowerPoints are awesome study guides.

Professor Rapp is awesome! She has a sense of humor but still knows how to teach during lecture. I never found myself day dreaming in class. She is the type of person who will help you if youre interested in her class- doesn't tolerate slackers. You need to study for class or you will not do well on exams. I hated chemistry until i took her class.
