Comment:

He is a great option for GBA 490. It's a hard class but each time a case is due he always blocks off hours for you to come in and have him look over your case. The test weren't the easiest but he gives you everything you need to study. Go to class because it goes against your grade and you can earn bonus through participation. Overall not too bad.

Comment:

His classes are discussion-based from the book and the assigned cases, and class participation is a decent part of your final grade (and he keeps track of who has talked each day). The business strategy game is confusing but that's not his fault. He gives you everything you need to get an A, it's just a matter of if you use it and actually study.

Marino gives you clear instructions on what will be on tests and exactly what he wants included in cases. The game was the only confusing thing about the class.

Mr. Marino is awesome. His class isn't as easy as the other GBA490 classes, but the case studies he assigns and the info you get from going to class makes the final 10 times easier. He's really helpful if you ever have any questions and he's an easy grader on his tests! I'd definitely recommend taking him.

Class was a joke. Subjectivity reigned in this class. Marino assigns useless case studies that never get discussed in class. The "pre-work" for his class is totally useless and adds no value to the class. If you can play buzz-word bingo fairly well, then you can make a B with zero effort. Its all about semantics-period.

This guy spends more time talking about himself, his wife, his kid, and his failed businesses than the subject he is teaching. He is so arrogant. Complete waste of time as a MBA class. He is incapable of providing feedback in a timely manner and has to be reminded to grade assignments by his students!

GBA 490 sucks, but he made it as easy as possible. He gave us the questions on that were going to be on the test ahead of time and gave us an outline to use for the 4 hour final that the other gba classes weren't given. Cases are probably graded a little harder than stricklands, but it prepares you better for the final. You have to talk in class
