She is very picky with the answers that she accepts as correct. She is a tough cookie and doesn't like being interrupted. Her exams are take home essays and you get those answers through her lectures and textbooks. Get the textbook because this class is about myths, you cannot just search it up online. You will need both textbooks to read at home.

This professor has problems, she attacks everyone for no reason, and every answer you give is always wrong.You are only allowed to spend 5 minutes in the bathroom, so if you have a no 2, just hold it, horrible, grumpiest teacher in existence!

She is knowledgeable/passionate about subject.I had a tough time with lectures: her accent is heavy. not receptive to student questions, but does try to answer at times. I would suggest you take this class if you love the subject.she is known to be aggressive with grading. Needs to connect better with students/implement better teaching skills.

This woman is a beach. She treats adults like 5th graders and thinks she is the smartest person in the world and everyone else is dumb. Not a good learning environment. She should take a few education classes from Prof. Mulqueen. Big ego, big but, and no class. Don't take her, you will regret it.

She has split personality. Really horrible as a Prof. but good outside the classroom. She will humiliate you for asking a question. PREPARE to be attacked if you take her. The other person is right the test review has nothing to do with the actual test. Accent also makes her lectures hard to comprehend

Intersting subject but since it's a review class, there was no time to get into details which made the class kinda boring. If you attend all classes and take good notes, it's easy to pass. Just memorize things from the study guide. What really helped me was Wikipedia...

Being a history major and loving ancient greek and roman culture, I was REALLY excited in taking her course. Her study guides deal heavily with her lectures which makes it impossible to have a sick day. Small fractions of her lectures/notes can be found in the text book, which makes it hard to study. Her accent made it hard to understand her lectur

Like someone else mentioned, she does know her subject very well, but she is impatient and can be abrupt at times. HEAVY GREEK ACCENT makes it difficult t understand a lot of what she says so I had to sneak a tape recorder into class to help supplement my notes. TOUGH GRADER, especially with your 10 PAGE PAPER. I regret taking this class

SHE GIVES REVIEW WORK SHEETS FOR THE TESTS, YET THE TEST HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THE REVIEW. SHE HAD A HEAVY GREEK ACCENT AND BECOMES ANGRY IF YOU CAN'T UNDERSTAND WHAT SHE SAYS. GREAT TOPICS HORRIBLE TEACHER. THINK TWICE IF YOU DON'T WANT A GRADE UNDER A C.

I like Marianetti very much, but her class is pointless. Her exams are taken directly from the glossary of the textbook. You have to memorize things verbatim, but then if you find yourself in the Metropolitan Museum of Art, you can't tell one amphora from another since all you did was memorize the text definitions (no picture).

Marianetti is fantastic. She loves her Greek/Roman stuff and makes sure you'll also love it. She is super intelligent and will help any students. Highly recomended.
