study his notes in-depth and you can get an A. but it will take time to memorize everything. there is A LOT of information and i'm normally pretty good at studying high amounts of information. he's a funny guy that loves what he does and makes the class fun with his sense of humor. Easy A if you don't cram a few days before the exam.

Dr. Nimmo is very knowledgable! He pretty much knows everything about pathology. His lectures are pretty interesting and the course is amazing! People who keep on saying that his class is easy are just exaggerating! Obviously you need to study very hard to do well on the course and that's what I did. I recommend reading the textbook for the final.

tests were all MC but lots of questions were on text material not covered in class or barely brushed upon small details. his notes are pretty bare bones so make sure you add to them in class and read the text instead of just studying them straight, or you'll end up guessing half the final like i did

Agree with one of the ppl below. Hes a nice guy and tells jokes, but he has some weird habits and the lectures are not much more than reading off his slides. Material he covers is extremely brief and you really dont learn much other than technical words. Super easy course though. Take it for the easy mark, not to learn pathology.

this guy is way overrated, he doesn't answer emails or questions about the exam. never brought anything in to look at. whenever ppl are late for class, he stops and stares them down until they climb into their seats. the exams are dead easy, and the only reason to take this class.

awesome prof. 3 hour lectures seemed like 1, although we did get off early quite often. know his notes and you've got an A; practically don't have to read the text (but i liked it). the material is really interesting, plus he tells jokes and stories ... and he brings specimens in to look at. definitely a highlight for some of us eager premeds.

Great course, great prof. Interesting material, although my only complaint is that the course seems to be about rote memorization of facts rather than appreciating the pathophysiology and WHY certain clinical features appear in X disease. However, that is obviously asking for a lot from a 3 credit intro course. Just take it, you will enjoy it!

My best prof so far - funny and really clear. Exams very fair, no suprises. Very approachable prof, made me interested in pathology!!! Just an all round really nice guy.
