She is a great professor! She always makes lectures fun and interesting by incorporating funny stories or just things to keep you intrigued. She explains material well and will go out of her way to help you succeed! There are weekly tests, but as long as you attend the lecture and review the notes, you'll succeed! She offers a lot of extra credit!

You don't get feedback on your case studies until the class is over, so you have absolutely no idea if you are doing well and never get a chance to improve. She doesn't except late assignments, but can't grade on time. Lectures are just her reading from a slide. She is smart and the class isn't hard, but really not worth the tuition.

Took her physiological psych class and it is SO HARD. She gives you online quizzes to do (which are easy) but then there's also quizzes in class that are super hard. She gives you fill in the blank paragraphs (no word bank) and when we asked for a word bank she said she didn't get one so neither are we. Tough class, nice person.

Dr. Abbotts personality course was easy. Not my favorite subject but she made it enjoyable with convenient online quizzes, easy attendance points, and some extra credit. Be prepared to hand in a case study assignment each week (easy but time consuming) and participate a bit in class each week. Also, don't wait for grades/feedback, she grades slow.

Dr. Abbott is a very fair prof. She occasionally assigns extra credit :) She's very helpful and invested in your success. If you put in the effort for any of her classes you'll get an easy A. Just don't expect to get your grades right away. She takes time to grade.

Abbott is great. She's always ready to teach and help her students learn. She makes great use of her background in research and biology to help students further understand psychology. Most of all she uses tons of examples. Study her power points and know the basic idea for PSY 101 and you're golden. Use the book and power points on CWs.

I loved her, I hope she is looked as as an awesome professor--she really deserves it for 101 anyways. If you fail, its because you didn't study. Her tests are hard at times, but are passable if one studies!

She is a really helpful teacher. She goes over everything very well, makes connections so that it is easier to understand. I really enjoyed this class. Its really not hard, but studying helps. She is very will to answer questions, have meetings, whatever the student needs to understand the material. I highly suggest taking her class.

She's a good prof but often you have to work too hard on an exam or quiz to get a point. The paragraph ?'s are the worst. Do NOT take physiological psychology with her until you've taken Bio 105...My life would have been 10,000 times easier if I had. & developmental psychology it's just the material... too much in too little time, not her fault.
