Kennedy is the king! Despite class being somewhat lopsided in its scheduling, as a teacher is a rockstar and among the smartest and most interesting faculty members at Harvard law. You won't get a better teacher of the Socratic Method! A must take if you can.

Comment:
Prof. Kennedy is knowledgeable, friendly, likable, and a skilled and entertaining speaker. Unfortunately his time management is poor, with considerable class time wasted on random digressions, lengthy stories, repetitive material, and unfocused class discussion. As a result he falls days behind his own syllabus and never catches up.

One of my worst class experiences at HLS. He cancelled class several times to go on a book tour, which showed disrespect for our schedules. His lectures were rambling and relied overly on student participation, which was a waste of time. He seems to grade wholly arbitrarily, and I've confirmed this with classmates, so it's not just me.

I really enjoyed his interactive style and his great wardrobe. I have a really big crush on him to this day.
