By far the best English professor I have ever had. McManus is so helpful in every way, if you need extra time on a paper he will give it to you. He is the only professor I have had that understands its hard to be a full time student and have a full time job!

Ray is one of the best professors you're ever going to encounter. He will go out of his way to help you any way he can, and his grading is very fair. If you do the work, you get an A. His criticism is always spot on, and he's one of the only people I've ever met that can simultaneously critique your work and boost your confidence.

Very smart. Makes you feel important and doesn't waste your time. Class is not a waste, you learn a lot in a fun environment. And that's the kind of stuff that sticks with you. Highly recommend.

dr mcmanus is great. he really wants to see students succeed and doesn't waste time teaching things that aren't necessary. he lets you revise papers as many times as you want. i'm just disappointed that he's not teaching 102!

Best professor I've had this semester. He's funny, smart, and he can actually teach. In fact you do learn "English" in his class, just not the way you did in high school. He makes you believe you can do it. I can't wait to take another class from him. Dr. McManus is the man!

Cool teacher!! Very flexible, wants students to do well, and doesn't waste your time in class. Funny, and wants to hear what students have to say. Assignments aren't bad, and if you don't make an A at first, he'll let you re-do the work as much as you want until you get the grade you'd like. cancels some classes too.. I'd def. take him again

Great teacher. You don't really need to go to class but they're normally pretty short and entertaining. There are only a few papers that are 2-3 pages, and you rarely use the book. Best ENGL101 teacher out there!

Awesome teacher. He'll let you edit your papers because he wants you to get what you want out of your writing, and to get it right. Great jokes and actually wants to hear what you say. If you need help with scheduling just ask, very understanding professor and fun to talk to too. One of the best and most open teachers I've had. TAKE HIS CLASS!
