Professor Masters is fantastic. He seems to care that his students pass and will give guidance on what to improve on. There is a bit of reading for his course, but he is more than fair in assessments and assignments. I would definitely take another of his courses.

I don't know if he still teaches, but he was the most compassionate professor I've ever had. He let me make up a test when I was out with gallstones. He's the most understanding and he really helps you understand the lesson. I would take him again in a heartbeat!

The comment 2 down from mine is right on. Half of the test (multiple choice & true/false) comes from reading your textbook. The last half (short I.D.'s) come from the powerpoints, and you can use them on the test. Masters is a great teacher. Makes material interesting, even if you're not big into history. He has a passion for teaching. Take him!

Lectures directly from power point. The tests are 1/2 from powerpoint (which you can bring to the test) and 1/2 from the weekly reading. Reading material can be slightly boring and there is no study guide so you don't really know what to focus on but overall easy class IF YOU READ!

He's a great guy period! He's an even better history professor. He knows what it's like to be a student and is willing to help you if you're willing to do the work. Go to class, pay attention (not that it's hard, he's very interesting), and for godsakes... read your book! You'll definitely get an A!

Masters is a cool professor. Last three weeks of the semester we didnt have class. Makes history somewhat interesting. Tests are really easy. I made a C on all three of the tests, but with the final annotated bibliography added I made a B in his class....TAKE HIM.

I loved his class. Being a History major I love learning new stuff. Most history classes I go into I know pretty know alot of everything we are going to do. He teaches things that other historyy teachers dont cover about certain topic. Not a very hard class, just pay attention and you will do fine.

Awsome teacher! I would strongly recommend him to anyone who has student disabilities. He provides power points for those with disabilities as long as you have the documentation. He has 4 tests and one annotated bibliography. Easy class and no maditory attendance. Tests are easy as long as you study and you can have notes on the short IDs.

HE IS A WOMDERFUL TEACHER AND I WOULD RECOMMEND HIM TO ANYONE. HE IS VERY UNDERSTANDING AND REALIZES, UNLIKE OTHER PROFESSORS, THAT IT IS A REQUIRED COURSE AND A LOT OF PEOPLE WOULD NOT CHOOSE TO TAKE THE CLASS. BECAUSE HE KNOWS THIS, HE IS FAIRLY EASY, BUT HE WANTS YOU TO LEARN. HE IS THE BEST.

Had him for HIST 2010 and 2020 was the best professor I have ever had at the University. I actually learned something in his class and enjoyed myself while taking it too! As long as you come to class you can get an A.
