Awesome teacher! Keeps you involved and makes it interesting. Also won't let you get away with sleeping in class :) He instills humor in his lectures which made me want to attend class because I knew it would be both entertaining and informative. Highly recommend you take his class!

Best teacher I've ever had! I was not looking forward to chemistry but he made everything so much easier to understand and really interesting. Also very helpful...get the practice worksheets for extra help and get them checked during his office hours. And his jokes are AWESOME...you'll have a good time in his class! Highly recommend!

Great teacher. He is clearly enthusiastic for his subject and it does help with class morale. Oka does suffer from extremely irrelevant ranting, although it is often is funny. His humor is uniquely admirable. One of the most helpful teachers I have met if you need extra help. I highly recommend him.

very good teacher, explains really well. He is very interrested in the student's success, so if you don't understand something, he'll explain it to you during office hours. For chem 12 A and B, it's a hard class, you just have to study, or you are gonna get behind very fast.. but if you follow his advice on how to study, you'll do fine!

He teaches application problem solving really well. I've taken math from algebra 261 to calculus 3C and this is the first time application problems have made sense. I also like the fact that if I get the lab wrong he'll help me until I get it right and I don't lose any points.

After a chem class in high school with a teacher that gave everyone in my class an F I never thought i would love chemistry again. Boy, was i wrong. He made this class fun and very easy to understand. I remember him dancing alot and telling alot of jokes. I don't think I will ever meet another teacher as approchable as he is. Highly recommended!
