Professor Yoakum is one of the best Professors I have taken at Chaffey College. She is very helpful and very clear about our assignments. We did have to write a lot and we did many presentations. But she made it very easy for us and gives great feedback, I would definitely take her again! :D

wonderful instructor. Gave me a temp job referral, & it was great intro to Social Service work, with the training I received in class I was able to preform most of the work duties. Thankful to have taking this course. I only took this short term class cuz it required one day a week. Now I WANT to work in Social Services!

I went into this class without knowledge that it was a certificate course to work as a Social Service Designee (Assistant). Nearing the end of the term I was given a referral from the professor for a per diem job in a Social Service Department. I used every bit of information I learned during the course in the working atmosphere. great class!!

Sweet,caring,fair,understanding, knowledgeable. Some homework but not a lot. Papers are easy and she let's you use some notes on tests. She makes this class very interesting. Easy A if you attend and do the minimal homework. You need the book to study for tests and copy stuff down for notes for tests.

Several written assignments each semester but she provides the topics.Ok to use notes for tests; some are take-home.Guest speakers.Oral presentations required.Didn't buy the book but used the library copy before tests which are based on text.

Comment:
This was the second online class I have taken. By far, it was the most interactive. She encourages online discussions and if you participate, you get full credit. About 7 papers are due, BUT most are only one page long and pretty easy to knock out in an hour. Do your assignments and get good grades on the test and its an "A" at the end.
