For every book expect to read, write an essay (750), 2-4 paragraph research assignment, and respond to fellow classmates. As long as you keep up with your work you will do fine. Unlike many professors in online courses she is active and detailed in her responses/essay corrections.

Comment:

Loved! Specific expectations, clear syllabus, easy assignments. Sure there was lots of reading and writing, but it IS a Literature course. Has many of her own opinions, but didn't deduct points because your opinion was wrong or wasn't shared with hers. Actual books only, no textbooks, $20 all together. I wish she taught other online Lit courses!

Horrible teacher. No matter how much perfectly you write on given topic, she will end up giving you a bad grade. Always comments on, "you should've done this, you should have done that". It's NOT PERFECT for her. I wouldn't recommend her. I have took other english classes in this school but no one is worst grader as her.

Worst professor I have ever had hands down. Her class is a joke. 500 word essays, is this 5th grade? And if 250 words are quotes that still won't be enough. I have NEVER seen her post ANYTHING remotely positive. She has no idea what she's talking about but has the nerve to "correct" basic writing skills taught at established universities. Good luck

I took her online Short Story course. Horrible. Never called me by the right name even after I corrected her. The discussion boards were hard to follow and there was always something wrong with the response. The set up of the online course was hard to follow and hard to find anything. I wouldn't take a class taught by her again.

This is the worst professor I have ever had throughout my entire college career. She is so rude and condescending. I reached out to her through multiple emails and although she responded quickly, she didn't offer me any help. I would NEVER subject myself to take her class and I highly suggest you don't either. Seriously, she is that bad!

OMG...not for nothing BUT IF you are not a harvard material, Don't take her online class. She thinks everyone is specialising in Literature. Unbelievable. Her assignments are very detailed to the point that they almost loose a meaning. You never find the assignment folders-not user friendly a tall. She is very intimidating! REGRETS!

WORST teacher in my lifetime. She doesn't know an orignal thought if it hit her in the head. the class involves quoting things from the internet. even when replying with her every request, she is not happy. if anyone has ever gotten an A from her, I wouldn't believe it. There is a four letter word for that woman.

Disliked her online class; she wasn't clear about assignments, and ended up grading me down on things that weren't mentioned in the syllabus or class. It seemed she never agreed with anyone--it was always "yes, BUT" or "actually..." and came across as very harsh. I know a lot about this subject, but she often came across as condescending.

Took her online class, don't! Lit classes can be fun, especially when in school, since you can discuss the works, but when you have to write about everything it's frustrating. Plus she never seemed to agree with anything I said.

Alot of work and reading. She's very nice but her class can be very boring. Maybe it's just the nature of the subject. I really hate going to this class but for I don't have a problem with her. Don't take an online course or a half online course; you think they save you time but they SUCK! nice lady
