I had Tiger for a couple semesters. At first, he was good. Then I realized he thrives on intimidating. If you show any sign of weakness, he feels powerful. This did not motivate me! I've talked to other students and have heard similar stories. Does not have a system for teaching trumpet, does not give clear answers. Do not take! Egotistical!

Since all his negative comments are from like 2007..its now 2011, and this is my third semester studying with tiger.I've never had a private teacher prepare, and cater to their students needs EVERY lesson like tiger has. He's opened my eyes in alot of ways, and he forces my progression. I cant say enough about this amazing private lessons teacher!

This guy is imitation as a musician though he has a great position at Berklee. He forces a difficult tunes, because he pretense a confident person. I want to recommend his class to those who want to hear his selfish talk show.

i get the appreciation everyone has for tiger, cause he's a really deep guy - makes you think differently. but, i got really turned off in class when he played the whole time. it was almost like concert hour for him. we hardly picked up our instruments. he's nice and knows a lot about playing outside the box, but he has his favorite students.

I had tiger for the 5 week program as a priv. teacher and he is THE guy. It's impossible to get lessons with him. The way he teaches you, you just get sucked into his musical world. He creates such a fun atmosphere where you learn A LOT.
