Tony is a great professor for Introductory Ani Sci! The lectures can get a bit slow but the info is great and helpful. His tests are nearly identical to the past tests he has posted so definitely utilize those! The labs are pretty easy and easy to get full points as long as you show up and do the work.

Tony is boring to say the least. You'll end up teaching yourself all the lecture material. His tests are hard, but you get a notecard so that helps. Tony is a very nice guy and has a very dry sense of humor if you're into that, his classes are just boring- all he does is read off of lecture slides.

Lectures for this class were dry. You buy printed out packets and just fill in the blank in class, so that makes your life easier. The exams in this class are ridiculous, I felt like we were trying to cram everything on a note card because we really hadn't learned the material. It was like how many fun facts do you remember. Good guy, poor lectures

Tony's okay. Boring lectures, hard tests, labs are kind of ridiculous/unorganized. But he's a funny guy, seems to know what he's talking about most of the time. I've learned some things, but they're just things I don't think I needed to know.. like how to artificially inseminate a cow or how to grade a beef carcass. Oh well.

He was extremely off-putting until I got used to him. He is very funny and knows what he's talking about. Even if it doesn't seem like it sometimes. Do not underestimate his tests, they are HARD. But easily passable w/ some study time. Labs are very fun and his T/A's Matt and Lee were very fun!

I recommend taking ANSC1011 BEFORE this class, even if it's optional to do so. Those who don't have a feel for Tony's lecture style ahead of time struggle more. Sit close and LISTEN to do well. A lot of pre-vet students going for pets don't get why they have to take this class, then sit in the back, talk over him, then do poorly on tests.

Tony has revolutionary views on many social issues, like animal rights, global warming, and ethics. He's clear, funny, and out going. He really knows how animals feel and he's good at explaining confused ethical views of people who don't understand these complex interactions.

This class was a blast and Tony made it fun, his random jokes will make you chuckle for the rest of the day, I recommend any class taught by this cool guy. He'll be the best professor you've ever had. Take as many Tony Classes as you can.... This man is actually a genius. Plus he's hilarious so you won't be bored.

Tony is a fun and entertaining professor. Lectures are definitely a must to go to, because otherwise tests would be impossible. You don't use the book much, just for assignments, of which there are less than 10.

Tony has a very interesting sense of humor that will keep you laughing all semester. He also knows so many random facts that will show up when you least expect it. He is very good at making his classes interesting and keeping the whole class engaged during his lectures. Which can get kind of boring and run off topic from time to time. He's great!

I have always had love/hate relationship with Tony. I've had him for Animals + Society, Introduction to Animal Science and Animal Breeding. His humor is off, but if you like dry humor he can be funny. 1101 and Animals and Society are easy but be warned; Breeding is difficult to grasp since Tony does not teach equations well.

This class is super easy. Tony is very easy going. If you can get ahold of an old final, he does not rewrite. The hands on portion is fun, however, if you do not enjoy getting dirty and being with animals you should not take this class.

AWESOME CLASS AND PROF. I think he is absolutely hilarious. and I think it is completely false about it being difficult if you don't come from a farm. I didn't come from a farm and i'm getting an a. If you listen you'll do fine. He gives you a notecard for the test and 4 years of previous tests... there is no reason to do bad on his tests

Tony is very smart and easy to talk to. You probably have to work harder in his classes if you're not from a farm background but it's certainly not impossible or even that hard. Tony has a dry sense of humor that can be absolutely hilarious. I'd recommend him!

Assumes everyone grew up on a farm. Lectures are usually pointless. If you dont study and make a note card for the test you'll most likely fail it. Labs were usually pretty sweet though.
