Do NOT take this class!!! I took her this semester and it was the worst class I have ever taken. She never does things on time or according to the sylabus that we are supposed to follow. She is very disorganized annd always late for class if she shows. Her finger spelling is very difficult to understand her signs.

This professor must have changed a lot over the past few years because she is THE worst professor that I have EVER taken. She has missed quite a few days already this semester without warning and most of the time without a sub. She is extremely unorganized and we are currently a month behind in our work. I will not be prepared for ASL3...

Expected a lot from us with out giving us due dates on assignments. Very boring class. She would write the word on the board and then show the sign. Not very interactive. She relied on us using the lab to learn ASL.

I was pleasantly surprised by this professor. This is a sweet, knowledgeable professor with impressive credentials. She has a doctorate degree, a NAD IV interpreter cetification and 30+ years experience. She also genuinely wants you to learn. You do have to do the work. If you genuinely want to improve your knowlege of ASL, this is a good professor.

THIS TEACHER IS NICE. SHE IS EASY. THE SIGNING IS NOT HARD. YOU JUST NEED TO PUT SOME TIME INTO STUDYING. SHE LETS YOU GO EARLY FROM CLASS, SO YOU ARE ONLY THERE A LITTLE MORE THAN AN HOUR. SHE DID MISS A LOT OF CLASS, BUT SHE WOULD GIVE EXTRA TIME FOR ASSIGNMENTS. BESIDES THERE ARE ONLY A FEW AND WE WATCHED MOVIES.
