Does not explain things clearly and is irresponible. Dropped one of our tests because he forgot about it TWICE. Over half the class cheated on tests and he did nothing. Lots of online hw also. The course itself is like any calc class but Professor Postell is horrible.

One of the worst professors Ive had. He lets you have a 4X6 notecard with formulas and gives you a practice test to study thats really similar to test. So those were the only reasons I passed. I had No clue what was going on in class because he went way too fast and never explained. So boring and doesnt care about students.

He is nice. If he wasnt nice, I would rate him lower. He is not a great teacher in my opinion. I had to teach myself mostly everything. Needless to say, it was a very difficult class.

Funny, smart guy, eh professor. Moves super quickly and makes up problems on the spot that arent always solvable. Makes class quite confusing unless you just absolutely love math.

The class is lecture-heavy. The homework he gives online is really helpful. Make sure you do them because they help your grade. The Sample tests are very similar to the actual tests, so make sure you study them. The grade consists of 4 tests, Homework, and the Final. In the end, he'll drop you'll lowest test grade.

Stuck to the course material and was willing to clarify and elaborate. His lectures were well tailored towards the course material. Is approachable before and after class and during office hours. If you show you're willing to work he will work with you. Very knowledgeable and is able to effectively relay that knowledge. Do not skip class

If you don't get distracted by him looking at the ceiling when he's lecturing and you can understand how quickly he speaks he's a great teacher.

My biggest issue with this class was the fact that he talks so fast that sometimes his words slur together or only come out in parts. Aside from that, the only other thing that bothered me was the fact that the only grades for the class are 4 tests and the final. It really makes it difficult to improve your grade.

Is pretty clear cut when grading exams: its all or nothing. And with entire class being based off 4 exams, that can be really stressful. Also, it is nearly impossible to reach him: he does not respond to student emails or phone calls, and his office hours are at the worst possible times. While in his office, he only answers yesno with no help

I've never struggled with a math class until this one. He covers material entirely too fast. His test are made to be way harder than the math is. It is almost like he tries to trick the students. I knew all of the practice test before test and then did not know a thing on the test. Very unorganized and misses answers to problems skipping steps.

Very intelligent teacher. I had him for summer &my entire class loved him. He takes the time to work problems until you understand. While attendance is not mandatory it will hurt you if you don't attend. He gives out sample tests before exams and will work them out if you ask!He tries to give you as much credit on the tests so show your work!

One word. Lazy. Lucky if you get tests back before you take another. Rarely comes to class prepared. Expect for many of the problems that he makes up on the spot to not work the way he wanted and he will make many mistakes along the way so hope that you or a classmate corrects him or even your notes will be wrong. Avoid if possible.

Postell's class had a great atmosphere. he really let the students open up and discuss things with him while he was teaching. His tests were really difficult but he did a good job explaining the material. Overall one of the hardest classes I've ever taken, but I think that's just because Cal2 sucks balls anyways. plus i only showed up 1/2 the time

Sweet man with great interest in the subject. Very fast paced and little time to ask questions as he expects you to understand already for the most part. Text book is used every day and he gives a replica example of each test the class before you take it,

He is an okay teacher. He takes FOREVER to grade tests. He does not look you in the eye and it can be frustrating when you are trying to understand things from him. His grading is comprised of 4 tests and a cumalative final and drops the lowest of the 4 test grades. He does review and studying is a must.

Professor Postell is a tough teacher, which doesn't combine well with pre-calculus for many of us. Grade is comprised of 4 tests and a final, with the lowest being dropped. He's very smart and he's willing to help if you approach him, but as far as his lectures, he covers the material very fast and it's hard to understand much of the time.

He always reviews everything that will be on the test in great detail. He's very enthusiastic about it all and manages to keep your attention. The only problem is that he takes way too long to grade tests, but other than that, I highly recommend him.

He skips alot of steps!! I am usually very good in math and half of the time I can't keep up. I get lost all the time and whenever i asked him to slow down he said i need to go back and look at my notes. You can not keep up with him!!!

He goes over the material in detail & gives plenty of examples. The 1st part of class is dedicated to answering questions about the homework. There were students who complained about him while I was in his class, but they were the students who didn't ask questions or put much effort into the class. He is very helpful all you have to do is ASK!
