There are about 12 quizzes in the semester. The quizzes are all true or false and 10 questions. He drops the two lowest quiz grades. There are 4 exams and he gives out the practice exams with answers before the exam. Only downside is that the practice exams are over 40 pages long and with a lot of questions. Easy grader on the research papers.

Fun class. He's a good lecturer and very helpful in person but does not answer emails. Not sure why. Love him! He's an older but very good looking man. Always dresses sharp and smells nice :)

TERRIBLE LECTURER! his slides look like a 5th grader made them. His tests are impossible; even when the entire class failed he debated curving the test and blamed the students for not reading. One of ENC's worst professors. If you can take this class somewhere else I recommend you do!

Classes were a little scewed because he was passionate about the whole race and gender issue. But I enjoyed the class discussions. I missed the final exam on accident and he let me take it, no questions asked. A pretty decent teacher, and a pretty decent man

Very difficult class. Griffin is a great man, but not the best lecturer. Class notes were pretty much irrelevant and you had to be a genious to decipher the exam questions even after reading all chapters.
