Very understanding and helpful! Lectures are super long and boring especially if you take the class once a week and they're 3 1/2 hours long.

Comment:

I mean no disrespect to Ms. O'Neill, but Introduction Psychology was the most boring class I have ever taken. Every day, I was falling asleep and her lectures did not help for the tests. Several questions on these tests did not even come from her lectures or the textbook. If you enjoy your life or are taking another class, avoid Intro Psych.

At first it was simple and most of the information on the tests came out of the chapters. As the course progressed neither the book nor her lectures seemed to be enough to get a complete 2020 on her exams. We had 7 tests in the 6 weeks. the grading isn't the best. I wish I didn't take this class, felt like a majors class!

Don't get me wrong, I'm sure she's a very sweet lady, but if you want to save yourselves from a miserable class, avoid Mrs. O'Neill-ESPECIALLY FOR HER SUMMER COURSE. She gave 7 tests within the course of 6 weeks and each test was incredibly specific and difficult to pass with an A. Her lectures do not prepare you for these tests, only the textbook.

The most painful hour and fifteen minutes twice a week. I looked FORWARD to my three hour classes after hers. Very nice lady but her questions are confusing and even if you answer correctly she finds a way to make you look dumb. Tests were in such a severe curve it's hard not to pass it's just too boring. 90% ppt 10% outdated videos. Boring.

Good instructor who knows the material. She made Psychology interesting for me and was a deciding factor in me choosing Psychology as a major. You will need to read the chapters to do well on the tests.

She is a great teacher. The grade in the class is based on the tests she gives you. Any assignments given are extra credit. There is no midterm or finals. Just tests on chapters from the book. She has a PP for each class that you can DL at home. Also if you read the book you will do great on the tests. Over all a great experience in her class.

Easy, but boring. I never fall asleep in class, but would fight to stay awake in almost every one of her classes. On the bright side there's no hw, all tests are multiple choice, and she gives many extra credit opportunities.

She is one of the most boring teachers I have ever had. Her lectures are useless, because they only skim the essential material outlined in the book. Her tests are based off the readings from the book, so in order to receive an A, one must go beyond taking notes in class. Reading the book intently is sufficient to getting an A in the class.

Class is really easy. You don't really have to show up to class either to pass. Tests are really easy, just make sure you skim through the book and do the study guides. Offers a few opportunities for extra credit. Her lectures can put you to sleep. She has her funny moments from time to time as well.

Her class is easy and based on tests only. However, she is the most boring old dinosaur in the world. She uses videos from the 60s and 70s which are most likely very outdated and when she actually teaches her voice makes you want to rip off your ears.

She knows her stuff. She comes to class prepared and uses a lot of videos to emphasize things she covers in lectures. Very enjoyable and very easy to get a good grade as long as you try. Doesn't assign too much homework, tests aren't too bad, and she's more than happy to answer any question.

I really like her a lot. I had never enrolled in a psych class prior, and was actually a little scared. But she really got me intersted in the subject, and her clarity in teaching helped me understand a lot of things I wouldn't have been able to figure out using just the book.

Boring class ever! Everyday is the same, she gives you lectures on her powerpoints and show you videos. This is a easy class; you don't even have to attend class, just show up for the quiz. I earned a C and she bumped my grade to a B. However, if your hoping to learn, then avoid this class; your better off buying "Psychology for dummies" book

she is totaly weird! Class discussion was barely along the same lines of the book, and the tests come straight from the book! she had the nerve to YELL at a forgien exchange student that needed extra time to finish her test!
