Class consisted mainly of Prof. Tandel going over the power-point and telling the students that everything on it was "Pretty straightforwards". You had to learn everything by yourself, but he often let students retake quizzes. He also didn't assign the homework which the syllabus still had listed as part of our grade. Overall he isn't that bad.

I can't understand what he's saying because he's from India and He speaks very quietly. his words run together. I can't really blame him though, seeing as English is not his first language. He's not helpful through email even got my name wrong when it was right in the subject line? Don't take this class if you want to learn.

Very hard to understand, not only because English is his second language, but he also talks low. Sit close to the very front in his class and it makes it a little easier to understand him. He never answered any emails for me, so it was a long while into the semester before I had any clue as to how I was "doing" in the class. Easy A though.

A very nice man very willing to help you but he's from India and it's hard to make out what he says half the time. His handwriting is also very bad. He does not have cammand of the class room. His class is an easy A, though. Like I said, he is a very nice, helpful man.

This man is a horrible teacher. With a minimal understanding of the subject, and a minimal understanding of the english language you can barely hear him and when you do it doesn't make sense. I'm so happy I knew everything about IST 114 before the class
