Professor Omalley is nice for the most part, he gives every student a C for their midterm grade just to scare the students. he will drop your grade alot if your on your phone. the class is easy and you mainly just talk and write a few short papers and do the FYRE project.

Comment:

He is really nice and always willing to explain everything that you can not understand. I get A on Calculus 1 quite easily, although sometimes I do not pay meticulous attention to him. Textbook is prerequisite. If you do not have any other choice, it's not the worst course in the world that you can take.

OK, its not so much that its hard as it is very weird. The guy is sort of a fruit. He is all over the place and doesnt have a very good set up for the class. Ask him for help and go to the tutor but other then that good luck.

Don't listen to all the complaints! He's a great teacher!! If you take the time to pay attention you really will learn in his class. He's ALWAYS willing to explain what you don't understand, and does examples of everything in class. It annoys me that people rate him badly just because they want it easy. Mr. O'malley is a cool guy.

Tough teacher. He absolutely flies through the book, and in his class, if you fall behind you're in deep trouble. Friendly enough as an individual, but extremely lax as a professor. Projects are easy enough, but the tests are unpleasant. Watch yourself if you take anything from him.

This guy was not as bad as every one says. Use the tutor and go to him for help, The book will be covered from chapter 1 to 20 something in record time, i think we even had time left-over. if you do all the projects which are easy, you will be fine, and use the practice tests that he gives you the are the same kind of questions as the real exam.
