By far the strictest professor I had at NESL (NELB now)but also the one I admired the most. I was petrified to come to class late or ill-prepared. I learned the material and did well on her exams. A+ Professor Plumeri! You might be scary but aren't law school professors supposed to be???

i would definitely want to take her again *except that her grading is wacky. the exam is not representative in my opinion of the course she taught, and she is looking for very specific things. very friendly, very easy class sessions, but exams can be confusing. do NOT underestimate her.

I took Torts, Products Liability, and Modern Remedies with Professor Plumeri. She is wonderful. Her tests are hard but fair. She has specific expectations, but if you ask her what they are she will tell you - so meet with her - and you'll be fine!

Professor Plumeri is very clear in class but her exam was not an accurate representation of the material she taught. The material we had been given to prepare for the exam was much easier than the test. And you actually loose points for not writing in the exact facts she wants. I would not take another class from her.

Tough but fair -- very clear about what is on exams/how to prepare. Would take more than one class with her.

A great prof that really really knows her stuff. Very precise and exact, and doesn't take a lot of pointless questions from show-off students. Her grading is pretty harsh, though. You need to have the exact same answers as her on the essays. Review her old tests to get an idea of how she grades. Like the guy before said, it can be a crapshoot

I guess she is an OK teacher, but her test was absurd. Her method for grading final essays is totally arbitrary. If you study, and know your stuff, you may get a C, or you may get an A... it's a crapshoot.

One of the best professors at New England and one of the best I have ever had. She is very clear when teaching and breaks everything down into elements. She is easy to understand. Her exam is difficult because sometimes it seems you have to read her mind to say exactly what she wants. However, her grading is extremely fair. Prepare for class!

As long as you're prepared for class you'll do fine when she interrogates you about a case. She's a great teacher and I really enjoyed her class. She uses PowerPoint presentations to supplement her lectures and really breaks it down. There are no surprises on her exams.

Very good at explaining elements and giving examples. Approachable (for some reason first years are told the opposite, but it's not true). Her tests are not bad. Her grading can be somewhat tough, but I made it through all her classes and learned a lot.

she is the anti-christ -- she must pull grades out of a hat. there is no logic and everyone does badly.. & then she wont explain to you how or WHY you go the grade you did. The hat liked me and I passed but not many others shared my luck!
