Great professor for a very boring subject. At first I was very confused but then it all clicked and I finally understood contracts! He is always willing to help and walk you through an issue. Make sure to always have a fact, case, and policy argument for both sides of an issue. Half his exam is ripped from the Blum E&E book. Do the problems!!

Fantastic Professor. Incredibly smart and great with his time. Holds special Q & A sessions on Fridays for those more comfortable asking questions in a more intimate setting. Bring a level of professionalism and respect to class as he does the same. Be prepared and you will learn a great deal and can do very well.

My favorite professor from 1L, he has an awesome sense of humor. Read for every class and prepare to go over a fact/policy/case based argument and you'll do fine.

My FAVORITE professor in law school. Nyquist is ultra-smart, very funny and dare I say adorable!! He made me like Contracts, and I had no previous interest in the subject. I ended up taking 3 classes with him just because he taught them. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Tough grader. My one B was in this course, otherwise I was all As. He explains the material well and is enthusiastic about the subject. The exam was fair nd easy, I thought, although the grading was more severe than other profesors at NESL. He is looking for very particular essay answers and the IRAC formula is mandatory.

Absolutely brilliant! He will change the way you think about law. I never realized how important a role policy plays when studying law. He completely blew my mind with his absolute command of the material. I never thought that Contracts would be my favorite 1L subject. I feel completely privileged to have had him as a professor.

This guy is an amazing professor. He is extremely scholarly in his teaching and wants his students to know the history of a law, not just what the Restatement says. I loved his course because he actually makes you think about how a certain law will actually affect people. Overall, he is brilliant, fair, and incredibly insightful.

Looks just like old Biff from Back to the Future. Very good teacher. Pretty dry and class could get a bit tedious, but I found the material extremely interesting. Nyquist is as clear as a teacher can be in this subject. Nice guy, funny at times. You know when you'll be called on ahead of time. Final was hard, but just. Highly recommend him.
